I read the bulk of this one in one sitting – just kept turning the pages to read more! I’m definitely right around the age of Sophie and can imagine women like her probably right in my community. High school sweethearts who marry and become more friends than lovers over the years. There were definitely some predictable points in this book but overall, I just enjoyed going on this journey with Sophie as she re-discovers who she is, outside of wife and mother. It’s probably not a book for everyone but a good one for us gen x-ers! 🧡
