“We’re not going to Trader Joe’s if you keep acting like a brat!…. Meanwhile, if she was lucky, she could appease Hanna with a bag of dark chocolate-covered blueberries, and hope they could maintain the peace for the rest of the day.” p.46 💙

Hard to rate this book because I think it was sooo scary but isn’t that the point?? So in that sense, 4 stars! But it terrified me and I didn’t enjoy myself because I felt so tense!! So ….. ??? I don’t know how to rate that! But in the end I went with the fact that I appreciated it for being a horror book even though I personally did not love the experience of reading it so 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s about a 7 year old girl who LOVES daddy but has a much different relationship with mommy. That premise alone was fascinating to me because I am a total daddy’s girl and also have a daughter who was also a total daddy’s girl for many, many years (now she’s a momma’s girl! ha ha ha). Read along with last month! 💙

  1. This one was so hard to rate for me as well, I feel like she left room for a sequel and I’m nervous🤔😬

  2. Eek, I don’t think I could read it right now! It is so hard to rate a book that is good but not enjoyable to actually read. I totally agree!!
