Twitter you’d be working on a Facebook-like reaction view for your tweets. According to Jane Manchun Wong, the hacker who discovers all the secrets of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the bird’s social network would be preparing five reactions: like (already existing), cheer, hmm, sad and haha.

Twitter would add more reactions to its tweets

A few years ago we saw a redesign on Facebook, where it introduced reactions and it was no longer possible to just “Like” a publication. Now, a few months ago we learned that Twitter is conducting a survey among some users, to see if they would like to have more options for reactions.

Of course, at that time it was only a survey, and everything seems to indicate that the feedback was positive. And is that according to a tweet by the popular Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter is already working to introduce such reactions to tweets.

Through a tweet, Wong shows the reactions that Twitter could introduce shortly. According to the filter, next to the “I like” button, it would incorporate reactions such as: “Encourage”, “Hmm”, “Sad” and “Haha”.

Wong reported that Twitter began working on these new reactions very recently and is still in a recent stage of development. On the other hand, it is not clear whether the images released by Wong show us the final emoticons, these could be modified when implemented.

Regarding when the reactions to Twitter will arrive. For now, its launch date is not clear, if we know that in the future the social network would implement these new functions.

There is no doubt that the reactions will allow us to express ourselves without the need to respond, as Facebook users do now. However, we do know that there is a reaction that is not on the list and that of “I don’t like it”, which undoubtedly many users would like to see implemented.
