So many of you were tagging me in your Jalapeno Popper Burger posts this past weekend that you inspired me to make them tonight! The link to my original recipe is in my bio —>litecravings, or just Google “lite cravings jalapeno popper burgers.” Here’s what I did differently, though. ⁣

Instead of stuffing the burgers with the cream cheese mixture, I put it on top for no other reason than I was feeling lazy. Lol. Cook one side of your meat, flip, spread cream cheese mixture on top of cooked side, then cover to finish cooking and melt the cheese. ⁣

I didn’t use bacon. Instead, I added about 1/3 cup reduced fat cheddar to the mixture. Extra melty.

I kept this for by using beyondmeat ground “beef.” 3 ounces is 5 SP. You could use extra lean beef or turkey to lower the points. I didn’t add the extra jalapeno or onion to the “meat” mixture. ⁣

If you make this as the original recipe states and just put the cheese on top rather than in the burger, the patty/cheese comes out to only 2 SP on Purple and Blue or 3 SP on Green. My meatless version is only 7. So worth it!⁣

By the way, if you’re a whimp with spice, take out the jalapeno seeds. I love spice, so I left them in, and my mouth is 🔥 ⁣
