Skillet Chili and Cornbread. An old recipe that was in desperate need of a glow up! ⁣

Talk about comfort food. Turkey and veggie chili with honey cornbread baked right on top 🤤 I’m a weirdo who doesn’t like beans in my chili, and I’m always looking for ways to sneak in veggies. If you like beans, I suggest in the blog notes to omit the zucchini and add in a can of drained beans of your choice. I personally like tricking myself into eating more veggies. Lol. ⁣

This makes six HUGE portions. The chili itself is actually 0 SP on Blue/Purple or 2 SP on Green. I’ve made that on its own many times. But that cornbread topping… *chef’s kiss* Think of Chicken Pot pie but with chili and cornbread. Only 326 calories per serving, too!⁣ A single portion of the chili/cornbread combo is 4 DP on Blue/Purple and 6 SP on Green.

  1. Looks so good! I’m on blue and hubby is green so it’s great to find recipes that work well for both! Thank you 💚

  2. Beans don’t agree with me, so I’m excited about this! Such comfort food too. 😍

  3. Actually been thinking about making chili in the next week…looks yummy 😋 especially with the skillet cornbread…your making me miss home 🏠

  4. I made this last night and it was a huge hit!! Even my 4 year old gave it a thumbs up! Question about the baking soda in the cornbread…is 1 TBSP correct? It tasted very bitter, just wondering if it’s me or a typo. Thanks! And will def be making again ☺️
