“Opening the freezer door, she found a half gallon of Neapolitan ice cream.” 🧡

This one was hard to rate because initially, I had a difficult time with this book because the dad was SO unlikeable and it was taking away from my enjoyment of the book- honestly! I did not love all the sisters either and found them to be rather cliched. BUT then a mysterious stranger comes into town and won me over and the story just changed for me and it was a mad rush to the end to find out what happened. There’s so much emotion as with most Hannah books and this one left me in tears. I started it thinking it would go in my LFL donation pile and ended up putting it on my shelf with my other beloved Hannah books! Read this last month with the hosted by thebookclubmom . They’re reading Firefly Lane this month which I loved and reviewed because we’re all eagerly awaiting the netflix adaptation!! 🧡

  1. I haven’t read this one, but it does sound intriguing (I’m always interested in unlikable characters).
