Made this Pasta with Cherry Tomato Sauce (with no Fresh Sage 😫) for this week’s hosted by cookinglikeimeanit from Milk Street- The New Rules. Tho sauce was declared “the best I’ve ever made” by the whole family 😱 Not one strand left over ! Even my son, who is not eating too many carbs, had a bowl and said it was worth it! My market didn’t have fresh sage so I added some dried to the sauce to get the flavor profile and I had grated pecorino in the fridge, not shaved, but it was really a spectacular sauce, bringing out the sweetness of garden tomatoes! Also used regular ol’ spaghetti noodles because you gotta use what you have ! I’d love to make this again with bucatini as suggested and the fried sage! 💚

  1. You’re so right that we have to use what we have and adapt where needed! Looks like it came out great and I’d sure like a bite of that bread to go along with the pasta! Thank you for cooking along 💚

  2. I could eat pasta everyday. I love it so much. And I really love a great sauce. I’ll have to try this one.
