3.5 stars for this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 It took me about 2/3 of the way in to get into this book but once I did, man- I could not put it down! It was fast and my heart was racing. But it was frustrating because I know people would put this down before that last 1/3 and they would be missing out. I liked the storyline and the concept but man, David/Dawit was a hard character for me. I felt him to be overbearing and not very evolved for someone who has lived for 500 years. I still want to read on to see what happened but hope the next book isn’t as slow to start as this one was. Enjoyed discussing this with hosted by read.rewind ! ❤️
