I first heard of this series when someone told me about the Netflix show. When I found out it was based on a book series, I had to read the book first and I’m so glad I did! I love small town communities, a burly strong love interest and a gorgeous setting so I basically loved this book! I got swept away in the story and found my new book boyfriend in Jack. Man, did he win my heart big time! The characters were well developed and I really got a sense of this small community where they take care of one another and it’s hard to keep a secret! I’ve grown to enjoy the Netflix series but Ive learned to separate book and show. I have continued on in this series and perfect timing has me reading A Virgin River Christmas right now 😍 I fell in love with this fictional town and even googled to see if Virgin River is a real place!!! 🤣
