“It takes me a moment, but as soon as I see that it’s an entire bag of watermelon Jolly Ranchers, I want to smile.” ❤️

My first Colleen Hoover read and not my last! This was a page-turner for sure. Lots of drama and the way Hoover writes relationships is so realistic and on point. I think Hoover’s writing would appeal to a huge audience and I would definitely recommend this to many of my friends. I did think it was wrapped up quite neatly (which I didn’t love) because with life can be messy and I think she did a great job of showing that with the plot. I don’t think I realized this was YA. I would definitely say it’s older/mature YA. It makes more sense if it’s YA because I think it’s my age and life experience that made me feel no surprise at some of the twists and turns in this book. Basically, if you like relationship heavy, dramatic reads then this would be awesome for you! ❤️

  1. i enjoyed her book, “Ugly Love”. supposedly it was going to be a movie but IDK what happened. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  2. I still haven’t read any of hers yet, but I did snag a few free on Kindle so hopefully I’ll get to them soon! My IRL book club girls are obsessed with her!

  3. I’m surprised this is your first Hoover book! I want to read this one too. My favs are it ends with us, verity, and all your perfects.
