Instagram has begun to carry out a test in several countries, among which is Spain, and it already allows users who live in them to make Reels videos of up to 60 seconds in length.
Instagram has doubled the duration of the Reels in some countries, including Spain
The social network thus doubles the maximum time allowed for Reels, which is still 30 seconds for users from the rest of the world, although it is expected that the duration will also increase gradually in other countries, once the reach is expanded of this test.
As part of these tests, Instagram also releases the statistics for Reels. The social network will show metrics such as the number of Views, Accounts reached, Likes, Comments, Saved and Shared.
The statistics will also reach the direct of Instagram. In Live, corporate account owners will be shown the accounts reached, the peak of concurrent viewers, comments and shares.
The company will also include these metrics in Account Insights to provide a broader view of how Reels and Live shape an account’s long-term performance. Detailed scoping information will also be added to this Account Insights tool.
Instagram has also indicated that the statistics will include, in the coming months, broader periods of time. Until now, information is offered at 7 and 30 days.
Finally, the company has also ensured that in the coming months it will allow to see the Insights statistics from the version of Instagram for the desktop.
