I’m going to put a patriotic twist on these Funfetti Baked Donuts for 4th of Jul…

I’m going to put a patriotic twist on these Funfetti Baked Donuts for 4th of July breakfast! I bought red, white, and blue sprinkles to use in place of the carnival colors pictured here. I also bought pre-made vanilla frosting to make my life easier. 1 tsp is 1 SP, so I can add a tsp of frosting to each donut to keep them at 4 SP each. โฃ

I’ll have one with some berries and iced coffee for a low point breakfast, then probably have another one for dessert later in the day. ๐Ÿ˜‹ I’m just now getting my appetite back, so I’m really looking forward to our quarantine BBQ on Saturday. I’ve mainly lived off of scrambled eggs and toast the last two weeks. Chronic pain can cause even the biggest food nerd like myself to care very little about eating. My heart truly hurts for those of you who have dealt with chronic pain for months, years. Your strength is silent to many, and I know you’re struggling every day to not feel like a burden to the people around you. Or to not appear lazy or selfish. The guilt of silent suffering is HUGE. Sending you so much love and support. You are a warrior. โคโค

  7. Continue to take good care of you. We only get one body and it needs all the rest and caring it is calling for. Be well.

  8. Thank you for saying what you did here about chronic pain sufferers. I couldnโ€™t have said it better myself. Iโ€™ve suffered with chronic back and neck pain since my car accident 7 years ago. I still walk with a cane. But you have no idea how many times Iโ€™ve wondered to myself, โ€œI bet they think Iโ€™m lazy and just donโ€™t want to workโ€. It bothers me a lot and ur the first person whoโ€™s ever actually said that about people thinking that. It made me feel better knowing someone actually understands! Thank you!
