I loved it!!! I was having major anxieties due to sheltering in place last week and my blood pressure was through the roof so I decided to get my mind off things and picked this up to escape from the stresses of reality. And man, it did the trick! Thank goodness it was 600+ pages and kept me totally immersed for hours. I loved Feyre’s growth in this book and I loved Rhysand and his inner circle. Now that’s a group I’d love to hang with. There were parts that felt a little slower but understandable for over 600 pages and building a world we can understand. I totally want to see this series come to life on screen! I highly recommend this series for people seeking some escape right now. It is YA but maybe more new adult but nonetheless a fun and fantastical ride. I have book 3 in e-book format but it’s due with people waiting in 2 weeks so I think this will be my weekend binge! It’s been fun reading and chatting this series with the bunch hosted by letstalkaboutbooksbaybee 💙
