“I dig into my breakfast, savoring each rich sip of tea, and she slipped into the bathing chamber.” ❤️

OMG my first Sarah J. Maas and I definitely drank the kool-aid because I loved it! At first, I was hesitant …faeries? Am I going to be able to do this?? And not only faeries but the main character’s name is Feyre?? What the heck. But man this book sucked me into the world and my heart was racing and I was flipping pages so fast towards the end. Only knowing that there were other books in the series allowed me to keep flipping so fast instead of savoring the end. I cannot wait to continue in this series! Thanks to letstalkaboutbooksbaybee for hosting the buddy read last month that got me to finally pick this up!! ❤️

  1. Oh I really really need to reread the third book! Somewhere halfway I dnfed it (not on purpose, I just felt like reading something else and never came back to it).

  2. This is exciting to hear, I have been wanting to finally pick up SJ Maas for a while! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed her!

  3. The second one is even better. I’m just always going to have a book hangover because of them even though it’s been a year …
