I did a little Valentine’s Day experimenting today in my stories using the Skinny Double Chocolate Brownie recipe. So fun!
All I did was bake up the brownies according to the recipe, then used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to get these cute little heart brownies. The points will depend on the size of your cookie cutter. Mine came out to just 2 SP each!
For the frosting, I didn’t measure. Just powdered sugar with some food coloring and a tiny splash of milk until it gets to the consistency that you want. There’s barely any frosting on these–just enough for color–so I’m not counting it. But you do you! Sprinkles would be a less-messy alternative. I can’t wait to make these again this weekend!
I love this brownie recipe because there is no added sugar–just dates and applesauce. You can make them and too! But they don’t taste like “diet” brownies. They’re soft and fudgey and packed with chocolate flavor!
