Voice notes are one of the most transmitted contents through WhatsApp and, although they are easy to record, they are not exempt from the fact that we can make mistakes when sharing something that we do not like or that is not the most convenient to keep the peace of the chat. So nothing like using an app really focused on recording in the best way any conversation or voice memo. You have that application in native ways on your iPhone and it’s called “voice notes” and it’s designed to save long-term conversations. You can create a short audio note if you want, but it is much more useful as a way to record what happened during a chat with someone relevant for several minutes: a family member, a friend, a work conversation … the options are endless. Record, store and share The first thing to do is open the voice notes application, put the phone on a smooth surface, or in your hand, and start talking. Once the voice memo, or the complete file of a conversation, has been created, we must give the stop and it will appear by default in the list of saved talks. As a general rule, it usually acquires a name by default, which we can change whenever we want, to have it well located. Once we keep it already stored, then we touch on it and click on the three horizontal points that you will see in the lower left part. There you will see a menu with the “Share” function. We select it and it will take us to a list of the alternatives we have to send it to other users, for example through the WhatsApp app. Another option is to directly choose one of the contacts that appear recommended to us, although if none of them is the one with which we want to share that audio, then we generally select the messaging application. Once chosen, a last window will appear where you can see a preview of the audio file where they inform us of the total duration and its weight in KB. Check that you are sending the correct note and not another because in this step the name of the original file that we bring from the voice notes application is lost. If everything is fine, you just have to click on the “Send” button so that it reaches the specified contact, with a more stable sound quality and, above all, with iCloud backup in case it disappears from the WhatsApp conversation in the future.
