Hey, friends! For the past few weeks, I took a break from social media and blogging to focus on my health and healing. The past month has been well, a lot, with my spinal injury, moving to a new home, and the death of a close family member. ⁣

I’m taking everything day by day and trying to see the positive in all of this. I’m making lots of lifestyle changes to help with my physical recovery, which will have positive long terms effects on my overall health (I’ll share more about those changes soon). We moved to a place that is much more peaceful and comfortable for us to work from home. And my auntie is no longer in pain (she was in hospice care). ⁣

Some days are good, and others are a struggle to get out of bed. This passion I have for cooking and creating new recipes has always been a way for me to relax and escape a bit. So now I’m ready to get back into this and share more delicious food with you all!⁣ And to be a source of support for all of you, too. ❤

First up is this *new* recipe for Hawaiian Mac Salad! If youve ever had a Hawaiian plate lunch, you know this side is a staple! Only a few ingredients create a creamy salty/sweet combo that is just heavenly! Add in extra veggies or protein to bulk it up, or serve along with your favorite BBQ!⁣
