“He’d promised her homemade pizza and lemonade while they worked on her collection , and she was happy for the diversion.” 💜

Perfectly fine beach romance you could pick up at your local grocery store while on vacation and enjoy. It pulls at some heartstrings as Hallie grieves her beloved Aunt Clara and attempts to complete a bucket list she created as a child that her Aunt requires in order to receive a letter left to her. If you’re a glass half full type person and just want to enjoy a light romance, this is the read for you. I personally get a bit frustrated with books where I find communication to be lacking and so this one fell a bit short for me. It was so much fun discussing this thechicklitbookclub pick with the daily group – even if the book doesn’t work for all of us all the time, it’s fun chatting and speculating about the book along the way! We’re starting the sequel to this book tonight – House in Firefly Beach! 💜
