This was a solid addition to the conversation about the opioid crisis in America. The subject matter is important and absolutely worth reading about and understanding. I like the human interest angle because I think it can help people feel the impact of this crisis in a personal manner and not just in a cerebral way for those who have not been personally impacted by it. But I feel like I got more out of Time magazine and New York times articles about the opioid crisis in the past. The content was good in this book but the delivery was a bit disjointed. Thank you readwithtoni for creating this side last month for some of us who wanted to do a deeper dive into this crisis after reading Transcendent Kingdom together! 💛
