Happy Turkey Month!! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it highlights my three favorite things in this world: family, friends, and food. No pressure to buy presents or find the best costume. Just pure gratitude and comfort.
Throughout the next three weeks, I’ll share my favorite holiday recipes, like this Perfect Roasted Turkey and Gravy. If you’ve made a lot of my recipes, you know that I’m not about depriving myself, and that is especially true during the holidays. For this recipe, I just cut some fat and grease out here and there to make a perfectly moist turkey that is totally foolproof. Plus, the best damn gravy I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly! I included points breakdowns for the turkey both with skin and without, and for the gravy, if you plan on tracking that day.
If you’re not going to track, I still recommend you follow my directions. When I say foolproof, I mean it! Since I rely on a dry brine to make the best turkey ever, you prep most of it the day before and just put it in the oven the next day. So easy! Recipe link in bio —> litecravings. I’ll also include a swipe-up in my stories. Print the recipe now and read through the blog notes if you’re an early planner like myself!
Next week, I’ll share a survival guide to Thanksgiving, with tips and plenty of recipes from my favorite food bloggers, including dwardcooks mybizzykitchen theskinnyishdish everydaystella_ and sweetandsavorysteph. Keep an eye out!
