Happy Labor Day! We splurged today and I have zero regrets. ⁣

The star of the show was Jeff’s smoked ribs. Absolute perfection. We haven’t had pork in a very long time, so this was definitely a treat. As far as points go, I’ve never understood how to count ribs on WW. So I’m not going to. 😂 We only eat them maybe twice a year, so I’m not going to sweat it. ⁣

We grilled up some corn and brushed it with gochujang butter. If you’re not familiar, gochujang is a Korean red chili paste that has a bit of sweetness to it, too. I bought a tub of it because I’m working on a bulgolgi recipe (can’t wait to share!). I might as well get creative with the leftovers, so I mixed 1 tbsp gochujang with 2 tsp light butter. Yum!⁣

We rounded everything out with my Deviled Egg Potato Salad. There is a very old version of this recipe up on my blog. I’m working on updating it and will share that with you this week. ⁣

I hope you had a lovely holiday What! What was in your Labor Day spread? ⁣

  2. I learned a trick from Rosieonww she weighs the ribs before she eats them and then weighs the bones after she eats them and subtracts the 2 numbers to get the weight of what she actually ate! It is a genius idea. I always struggled and just guessed with ribs, turns out I was seriously over calculating how many ounces I ate 😩 If I only ate them once or twice a year it wouldn’t be a big deal but my husband is a huge rib fan so we eat them quite often in the grilling seasons.

  3. If I fly to CA and give Jeff and you a version of a KC bbq sauce charcuterie board can I just hang out because I think you guys are so cool

  4. How funny we had ribs today too and we’re trying to guess how much meat there actually is on them to put in points. We just made up ounces to count for some points lol.
