“Evie, I brought you General Tso’s chicken. If you want it, you will have to do what normal people do and have conversations.” 💙

This was a really cute and funny enemies-to-lovers romance that was heavy on the pranks, light on the romance. I found it to be sweet and liked that the relationship between Bree and Chip was more about laying the foundations of a relationship and not an insta-romance. It’s a great lighthearted and fun read – there are pranks, tap dancing and a big slobbery dog! Underneath all the pranking, it’s a story of two people going through personal changes and problems in a very realistic way but find a way to open up a little bit to someone who can empathize with their own struggles. I would definitely recommend this for folks who want a fun book to escape to for a bit. It’s always a blast reading with thechicklitbookclub group and our chat with melissafergusonauthor was so fun! We got to hear some real life pranks she’s been involved in!! Thank you for taking the time to chat with us!
Thank you this_is_edelweiss and thomasnelson for providing me with an ARC of this book.
