To achieve immunity to COVID-19, getting vaccinated is vitally important. That is why, a application pool dating agency is encouraging vaccination among its users.

In that sense, platforms such as Tinder, Hinge, Match, OKCupid, BLK, Chispa, Plenty of Fish, Bumble and Badoo are launching new functions that promote this initiative. These included vaccination badges for single users to display on their profiles, and links to vaccine websites. Even free “Super Likes” so that vaccinated people stand out from the rest.

With this initiative, the application group seeks to motivate its users to get vaccinated so that they increase their chances of getting face-to-face appointments. And, of course, in a totally safe way. At least as far as COVID-19 is concerned.

For example, Tinder offers its users a series of stickers alluding to the vaccination process against COVID-19. “I’m vaccinated” and “Vaccines save lives” are some of them. Additionally, it will create a “Vaccination Center” to guide people about this disease.

Like Tinder, OkCupid and Match will also provide their users with badges to post on their profile such as “I’m vaccinated.” In addition to receiving a free “Boost” to help them stand out from the rest.

In that vein, the rest of Match Group’s dating apps are making similar changes to their platforms in order to support the vaccination process. Indeed, the campaigns will begin in the coming weeks and will run until July 4.

This initiative is expected to contribute to the White House goal of reaching 70 percent inoculated against COVID-19 by the first week of July 2021. Will they achieve it?
