Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy. Easy fall comfort food at its best! No canned soups, no gravy packets. You get to control the sodium, gluten, and dairy content with this recipe!

This is the time of year when I need a crock pot recipe once a week. I’m in the middle of the semester, spending crazy hours grading and conferencing with students. I’m even conferring with a few students tomorrow. If you told me last year I’d be meeting with students through Zoom on a Saturday, I’d say you’re crazy. These are the times, right?

Anyway, I knew I needed something simple and bulky for the weekend, with lots of leftovers to keep me nourished while working. This one totally hits the spot!

I love this served over mashed potatoes and roasted green beans or brussels sprouts. I’ve been meaning to try themuchomama Jane’s brussels hash, so I think I’ll make that with the leftovers later in the week.

  2. Ok yum! It’s cold here in Michigan and I must have thought there was going to be a chicken shortage as I feel like I have 786 freezer paper wrapped breasts in the freezer. This will be on my list to make this week
