“‘Could I have some chocolate? Green and Black’s. Sea salt is my favorite, but the eighty-five percent dark probably has greater medicinal properties.’” 💝

Love the representation in this book – chronically ill woman of color who is not a size 0! Hooray! To be honest, it took me a little while to get into this read – the first 1/3 of this book did not grab me at all but once it got going, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Chloe and Red were adorable together. I feel like in relationships, so much energy is about the lead up but the meat of the relationship is actually how you continue to work after you commit yourselves to the relationship! I found Chloe to be refreshingly real – she has issues (physically and mentally/emotionally) and she knows it but she’s working through it! Yes, girl – I support you. It is steamy so if you enjoy that, this book has you covered. I enjoyed this one a lot – highly recommend! Read along with hosted by fictionfig and buzzedaboutbooks 💝

  1. I loved Red and Chloe by the end even though I still have a hard time believing Red would ever be single and I absolutely adored the representation!

  2. I’m reading this right now. I’m not totally feeling it, but your review is encouraging me to stay with it. Gotta “readtotheend”
