It’s always fun to reunite with characters from a first book and this was no different. My favorite part of this book was probably seeing the sisters, Beatrice and Samantha, grow up and grow closer. But ack! I think I am revealing my petty side because I wanted some bad things to happen to certain people in the book but I have to remind myself this is YA so perhaps it’s better that my adult pettiness is not played out for the youth! Keeping it vague on purpose folks! 🤣 It definitely left me wanting more so I hope we meet the Washingtons again! Fingers crossed ! 🤞🏻 Many thanks to katharinemcgee who generously met with thechicklitbookclub group to chat with us! It was such a fun time, as usual!
